Savoury brazil nut muffins


Components

  • 175 g self-raising flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp sea salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 dl milk
  • 100 g soft goat’s cheese
  • 150 g lean bacon bits
  • 50 g Brazil nuts, carefully sliced
  • 10 sweet peppers, sliced
  • 2 spring onions, cut in little rings
  • 2 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 to 3 tsp Tabasco red pepper sauce
  • newly ground salt and pepper
  • 50 g fully grown cheese, grated
  • little muffin (cake) types

Preparation

Preheat the oven to 200 ° C.

In a blending bowl, blend the self-raising flour, baking powder, sea salt, the milk and the egg.

Include the goat’s cheese, bacon bits, Brazil nuts, sweet peppers, spring onions, mustard and Tabasco sauce, blending completely with a spatula.

Grease the muffin (cake) kinds and gather the batter.

Sprinkle with a little pepper, salt and grated cheese.

Bake the muffins in the middle of the preheated oven for approx. 25 minutes.
